Online businesses have become more competitive than ever. So we always need to think a step ahead to make our business profitable. If you are one of those who want to start an online business and dominate the competitors, you are in the right place.

The legendary marketer is literally designed to help the average person learn about internet marketing. It’s also designed to help you earn an income. But, remember, nothing in life is guaranteed. Don’t expect to get rich quickly through the Legendary Marketer system. However, if you put in the time, you’ll eventually see results.

How It Works

The Legendary Marketer system is relatively straightforward. Whether you’re just starting in the whole online money-making thing, or you’re a seasoned veteran, Sharpe’s taken the time to build a system with an effective sales funnel. What does that mean? If you don’t know what a sales funnel is, it’s simply an automated system that turns prospects into leads and buyers. I know. I know. It’s really not that simple. But the concept is understandable.

I’m not about to get into what sales funnels are right now. Not in this post, at least. If you want to learn more about how funnels work, check out the book DotCom Secrets by Russell Brunson. Funnels, although simple-sounding, are rather sophisticated. They’re filled with triggers and email sequences and one-time offers and up-sells and down-sells and so on. And creating a funnel takes a lot of work unless you have software like ClickFunnels. Even then, it’s still some serious effort.

However, once you sign up to Legendary Marketer, you’re given access to what they call their back-office system. That’s where you’ll log in and get all the information you need to get started promoting Legendary Marketer. The reason why some people might find this difficult is that promoting it means driving traffic. And that means spending money on ads. So unless you have an influx of traffic from a trendy blog or you’re a social media influencer, be prepared to invest in your business.

Collecting Commissions

The Legendary Marketer system pays out between 40% to 60% commissions. The front-end products, such as the Legendary Marketer Club, payout 60% in commissions. High-ticket products like the Builder Masterclass and the Leader Masterclass payout 40%. The reason why it’s lower is that there are salespeople who are closing the sales for you, so they get the extra 20% that you would have made.

But the best part here is that you don’t even need to pick up the phone and close a sale. The sales team does that for you. So there’s really nothing to do aside from promoting the products. For example, a Builder Masterclass costs $2,500, and your commission on that is $1,000. You don’t even need to close that sale at all. It’s done for you. No, that doesn’t mean that this is easy. It’s not at all. You need to drive traffic. And not just any traffic. We’re talking about quality traffic.

However, once you find a good system that works, you just let the 45-day email sequence do its job. Yes, that’s part of the sales funnel that’s been built. Remember, a sales funnel is an automated system that sells for you. It gets those leads to join the Legendary Marketer Club. From that, you’ll collect a recurring $18 commission (60%).

That’s also where you’ll gain access to your personal coach. And, this is where you’ll go through the 15 core steps. Sound confusing? It’s really not. It’s pretty straightforward, in fact. Here’s a breakdown of how this works.

Legendary marketer

  1. Sign up to Legendary Marketer

Want to really know what Legendary Marketer is? Just sign up. That’s obviously the first step. It can’t get any easier than that. That means watching one of the videos from an affiliate and signing up.

You’ll pay the $30 fee, which is monthly and it’s recurring, and you’ll gain access to all the tools and the education that’s part of the Legendary Marketer Club. In addition, the affiliate that you sign up under gets a recurring commission of $18, and you get to re-sell the Legendary Marketer Club to others. However, when you sell it, the affiliate you signed up under no longer makes a commission but does make a commission from other products you sign up to.

  1. Login to the back office system

The back office system is where all the magic happens. That’s where you’ll find all the tools and resources you need to start learning and earning. Now, you might not earn much in the very beginning. But you will learn a heck of a lot of great gold-nugget-filled advice about internet marketing from seasoned pros.

  1. Set up your global e-wallet for payment

To get paid, you need to set up your global e-wallet to receive payments from Legendary Marketer. Doing this is simple. Just go to the setup section of your back office. From there, click on the sub-menu on the left-hand side of the screen that says payments. Next, watch the video and click the link to set everything up to the right of the video.

  1. Setup SendMail email system with the API

Now, you can use your own email platform. However, if you’re just starting, your best bet is to use the SendMail API. That will integrate all the email sequences automatically for you. It’ll also give you a chance to build your list. Later on, you can switch things to your own email system. However, this is the fastest way to get you up and running at the outset.

  1. Go through the first 5 core steps.

When people ask what Legendary Marketer is, and you hear that it’s a system that allows you to earn while you learn, there’s no understatement in that. You really are learning. In the first 5 core steps, you understand a wide variety of skills it takes to move you forward with your online business. Remember, this is a long-term business. Don’t look at it like some opportunity to make a fast buck. Instead, this gives you the foundation you need to propel forward. You can find the core steps when you click the My Products tab at the top of the back office and then the Core Steps on the sub-menu beneath that.

  1. Schedule a call with your coach

After you’ve gone through the first 5 core steps, you won’t be able to go further until you schedule a call with your coach. To do that, after you click on the My Products button at the top menu, you’ll see it in the lower-left-hand corner of the screen under Legendary Marketer Support. There, you’ll see a button that says Schedule a Coaching Call.

  1. Go through the next 10 core steps.

Once you’ve had your coaching call, your coach will unlock the next 10 core steps for you. Your job is to go through those with a fine-tooth comb. Don’t skim. Immerse yourself. Remember, this is an opportunity to learn from a legendary marketer like David Sharpe. Don’t short-change yourself just because you’re looking to get off the ground quicker. It’ll just backfire.

  1. Consider setting up a custom email sequence.

Once you’ve truly educated yourself on the system, Sharpe recommends that you set up your own 45-day email sequence by using his as “inspiration.” The problem he had was that everyone was copying his email sequence, which looked like spam. Of course, that’s not what you should do at all. But it would help if you related your own journey. It might seem hard in the beginning, but it’s an important step in the process.

Legendary marketer

  1. Grab your affiliate links from the back office

Your next step is to grab your affiliate links from the back office. That’s how you start promoting the Legendary Marketer system. After that, you effectively direct traffic to your links through a variety of ways. Now, I’m not going to detail traffic strategies in this post. I’ll save that for later. But if you want to learn how to drive traffic, check out my post about SEO here.

8 things people don’t understand about email marketing

Love it or hate it, email marketing delivers results, especially when done properly. In today’s world of ever-changing technology, emails marketing is a fantastic way to connect with your customer base and reach out to prospects and turn them into new and loyal customers. And it’s a relatively inexpensive way to market your small business that can have major payoffs.

The average consumer gets hundreds of emails a day. Many have multiple email accounts, one for personal use, one for work use, and maybe even one for “spam,” like their coupons and sales alerts. That makes it tough for you to get ahead, and it means your email marketing game has to be on point at all times.

Creating successful marketing emails requires planning and an understanding of the marketplace. To stay ahead and get your emails read, we’ve rounded up eight things that make your marketing emails look unprofessional and you might be doing wrong so that you can avoid these common mistakes and craft effective, engaging emails for your audience.

  1. View Table of Contents

    The data is yours

Speaking of analytics… email is the best platform for getting your hands on the cold hard facts you need to do your job. For example, it’s super easy to track what your audience is and isn’t responding to with email.

Want to know which blog posts got the most clicks in your email? That data is all yours. Want to treat your returning customers to a special discount code? You can send out an email specifically to them. You can easily see the best times to send emails to subscribers, what your conversions are for sales, and you’ll often have access to data about your subscribers, such as their location.

You can find important analytics regarding your emails through your email provider, Google Analytics, and sometimes your website’s back end. With some subscribers, you’ll be able to refine your email strategy with real-time campaign and website analytics that you can view when you access your account. Plus, you’ll be able to easily link site content like blog posts or new products directly to your email with one click. Use the nitty-gritty data to learn what content leads to higher engagement and track your metrics from send to sale.

  1. Having a “no-reply” sender email address

Receiving an email from a “no-reply” address leaves a bad taste in the reader’s mouth. Getting an email from noreply@mynewbusiness.com automatically shuts down any notion of two-way communication and comes across as promotional and impersonal, which can be off-putting.

The best way to avoid turning your readers off before they even open your email is to have a dedicated email account from which you send your marketing campaigns. This email address can include a first name (susan@mysmallbusiness.com) or an informative phrase (CustomerService@mysmallbusiness.com). This way, recipients feel encouraged to reply if they have a question or comment and have a real point of contact within your small business. It’s a simple way to start building relationships with your audience and giving them away to communicate with your business proactively.

People are already wary of spam and phishing emails, so do yourself a service by adding these sender email addresses to your account.

3. Segment your customer list

If you’re email marketing to your entire list with the same emails, you’re going to lose subscribers… Today’s consumers are susceptible to irrelevant sales pitches, which is why it’s so important to segment your list based on consumer wants, needs, and demographics.

Let’s say you’re a home builder who does new builds, renovations and works with realtors to sell developed homes. When you send an email out to your entire list about a home you recently renovated, only one-third of your list is going to care.  For the other two-thirds of your email marketing list, homeowners looking to build a new home, and realtors looking to partner with you to sell a new home, your email is not applicable. They don’t care about renovations, so they’re going to delete your email.

Worse, they might start to think that “this is a builder who doesn’t care about what I’m looking for, so I no longer see the value in subscribing to this newsletter. ” Herein lies the benefit of email marketing segmentation. You can send that awesome home renovation to subscribers you know interested in renovating and send your full-build subscribers information that’s more relevant to them. That way, everyone is happy. Sure, you sent out an extra email, but you’re more likely to get a better response rate from emails that are precise and relevant than blanket emails that go out to your entire subscriber list.

4. Your subscribers are yours to keep

It’s not uncommon for social media platforms to do purges of “fake followers.” And it’s really not fun to wake up and find your follower count dropped overnight. Not to mention, even popular social media channels can shut down without warning. Social media can be a bit of a gamble. While email subscribers can choose to unfollow your emails any time they want (legally, you must provide them with this option), no one else can remove subscribers from your email list.

When it comes to email, aside from the risk of having a natural amount of “unsubscribes” each time you send an email blast, you aren’t at risk of losing access to your email list. Furthermore, even when someone unsubscribes, you’ll still be able to see their history of how they interacted with your emails, which can provide insight.

  1. Too many images.

When emails are chock full of images, it comes across as busy and cluttered. As a result, it’s hard for readers to get the intended message and often results in emails being sent to the trash before they get to the good stuff! Also, since people are viewing their emails more and more on smartphones and tablets, if your images and videos are not optimized for mobile, they’ll likely show up as blank boxes, which look very professional.
Instead, use one image or logo in each email campaign and include alt text (descriptive text of your graphic or photo) for each image, so a description appears even if the image doesn’t render. Use an email service that optimizes for mobile and desktop to ensure your recipients see the email the way you want them to. This way, your text, and images show up properly, which reinforces your legitimacy.

6.  You Can Increase Sales and your website Pageviews

Here’s a fun little fact for you, 60% of consumers said marketing emails influence their purchasing decisions.  Email marketing is a really amazing tool when you consider that, unlike paper junk mail that people receive from stores unwillingly, customers choose to sign up for your email list. They want to learn about your new products, sales, and any content you’ve produced. Take advantage of that fact, and don’t be afraid to use email as a platform for increasing sales. Remember all that handy data you learned about earlier? Use it to your advantage and learn how to best sell to your audience.

You may also want to integrate your website with your email provider to increase your sales and pageviews. For example, some platform also allows you to take advantage of a feature called “abandoned checkout recovery.” This feature will send automatic emails to customers who have walked away from the checkout process. Basically, for zero minutes of extra work, your customers will receive reminders to make a purchase they expressed interest in. They also have features that allow you to customize transactional order emails to send to customers, like emails about purchase confirmations, order fulfillment, and refunds.

7.   No Unsubscribe

If you email market, you have to have an unsubscribe button. Besides the fact that it’s the law, most consumers abhor being trapped in an email subscription that they can’t get out of and aren’t likely to subscribe in the first place if they know it will be difficult to get out.

Try not to hide the unsubscribe button either. As tempting as it may be, the average consumer is likely to give your company more respect if you continue to give them control over the communication they’re getting from you. And really, you don’t want to be sending out emails to people who don’t want them and don’t care — it’s a waste of everybody’s time.

8.   Not Measuring your Success

The absolute best way to kill your list when you’re email marketing is to never look at your metrics. Every email marketing tool provides some level of metric reporting for a reason, so you can evaluate how well your outreach is doing and what your ROI is. If your emails aren’t generating any results, you need to try something different. On the other hand, if the emails you send out at 3 pm on Thursdays are seeing remarkable engagement, that’s something you need to know so you can keep doing it.

What is Digital Marketing?

Digital marketing is selling products and services through channels such as social media, SEO, email, and mobile apps. Basically, digital marketing is any form of marketing that involves electronic devices.

The term has gained immense popularity over the past few years and now is one of the most frequently used terms everywhere, including small and large businesses.

 Digital Marketing Strategies

Digital marketing uses various strategies to reach one key goal through different routes. That being said, there are seven major digital marketing strategies, and they are discussed below.

  1. Website Marketing

Your website is one of the biggest marketing assets to help your potential customers find what they’re looking for and make the final purchase.

An average buyer spends a significant amount of time on a website before moving on to make the final decision of buying. Your responsibility is to provide an excellent user experience that keeps your customer on your website and make them order your product. They should easily find information on their desired products and services.

Your website is the centerpiece of all of your business marketing, making sure you put a good impression on your visitors. If you have a crappy website, you will have crappy results from digital marketing.

While creating a website, keep in mind your site’s graphics, design, and overall layout. Also, make sure it is mobile-friendly because that is where most consumers are.

For you to be successful at digital marketing, you must have an effective website design.

  1. Search Engine Optimization

Every time you need to know or purchase something, the first thing you do is search it up on the Google search engine. When the results are delivered, a consumer usually finds what they are looking for on the first or second page of google search.

That’s where SEO comes into play. Once your website is set up, the next logical step is to invest in search engine optimization, referred to as SEO.

You will want to make sure people can find your website. Making your website SEO-friendly is one of the most important steps in digital marketing. Without optimizing your website to be Search Engine friendly, you will be left behind in the searches and miss the opportunity to grab potential leads and exposure to your business.

It takes time, effort, and patience to generate organic traffic to your website, but if you don’t want to pay to appear on the first page of the Google search engine, SEO is the way to go. SEO is free to implement and increases your site’s traffic gradually over time

  1. Pay-per-click Advertising

PPC advertising is a fast way to drive traffic to your website, except that traffic comes at a cost.

In simple words, every time a user clicks on your advertised ad, you would have to pay for the number of clicks. It’s the easiest and quickest way to gain traffic to your website.

These types of ads are most commonly used on search engines. The traffic received through this method is not considered organic.

Nonetheless, it’s still important to use PPC advertising as SEO takes time to bring in organic traffic and drive sales.

  1. Content Marketing

Content marketing holds a valuable place in the digital marketing world. Whatever online marketing strategy you may have, without content marketing, you won’t be able to build the customer base, brand, and engage your target audience into having an interest in your business.

Basically, content marketing is about promoting your business through interacting with your customers and convincing them to make a purchase. Some forms of content marketing are Videos, Testimonials, Ebooks, Podcasts, Infographics, Blog posts, Social media posts, and the list.

These could contribute to being a part of your digital marketing campaign that helps to build awareness among consumers about the business.

  1. Email Marketing

To maximize your revenue. You may need to push your hottest leads a little bit to get them to pull out their credit cards and buy from you.

That’s where email marketing comes into play. Email marketing may not be the primary source to generate fresh leads for your business. Still, it is more often used as a form of communication with your customer who has liked your services or products and has chosen to subscribe to your business updates.

Your chances of succeeding in making loyal customers who keep repurchasing from you increase through email marketing. Email marketing is perfect for staying in front of interested leads or previous customers consistently. Questions you need to answer before you get started with digital marketing

HOW MUCH DO YOU NEED TO MAKE?

To figure out what you need to spend on digital marketing, you first need to clarify your goals. How you approach digital marketing can vary slightly depending on whether your ultimate goal is to drive clicks, conversions or leads, sales, revenue, or a certain return-on-investment (ROI).

When you get right down to it, the ultimate goal of any marketing effort should be ROI. After all, if your digital marketing spends isn’t driving profitable revenue for your business, why are you marketing online?

Clicks and even conversions are great, but your company doesn’t make money from clicks (in fact, you actually spend money on clicks) or conversions. Instead, it makes money from sales.

With that in mind, the first thing you need to determine before you decide what your digital marketing budget should be is to decide how much revenue you want to drive. Once you know that, you can use that information to determine how much ad spend it will take to reach that revenue goal.

WHO ARE YOU MARKETING TO?

Once you know how much money you want to make from digital marketing, you need to identify who you are marketing to. This is critical because different buyer personas require different marketing tactics. And, even more importantly, different buyer personas turn into different types of buyers.

So guess what? If you don’t understand your buyer personas, you can’t create an effective digital marketing strategy!

If you’ve got a sales team, talking to sales can be one of the fastest ways to get a decent buyer persona together. After all, they’re the ones who talk to your customers the most.

However, even talking to your sales team and doing a little research isn’t enough to really get at the level of detail you need to put together an effective digital marketing plan? To do that, you need to get on the phone and call your actual customers.

Ask how they found you, why they converted, and what convinced them to pay you. This information will give you a ton of insight into your marketing and sales process that you can use to both improve the performance of your advertising and choose your marketing budget.

WHAT ARE YOUR CUSTOMERS WORTH?

Typically, people look at buyer personas as a good way to craft an effective marketing strategy. Of course, buyer personas are great for this, but they are also an important part of creating an effective digital marketing plan.

Keep in Mind

Digital marketing is the marketing of the future.

To make digital marketing work for your business, you must create a unique strategy for your business’s needs. Internet marketing is not one-size-fits-all.

By using the right form of digital marketing, you will attract the intended audience to your business, build awareness, engage them and shorten the buyer’s journey.

Figuring out the world of digital marketing for the first time might be overwhelming, and that’s very normal. However, no one said you have to do it all by yourself.

What Is Influencer Marketing?

Influencer marketing is a strategy that businesses use to promote their products and services by partnering with popular social media users or bloggers. Influencers usually have a large, engaged audience that brands can tap into to build credibility and drive sales.

Partnering with influencers is the number one marketing strategy for many brands. The simple answer to why influencer marketing works includes these benefits:

Reach a bigger audience

Build trust for your brand

Grow your social following

Increase site traffic

Get more leads

Drive sales

When you see celebrities and other famous people you look up to wearing things or using the stuff, you are much more likely to do the same.

How to Grow Your Business with Influencer Marketing

Referrals have long since been one of the most effective marketing strategies.

If you have a problem and one of your friends tells you about a great solution for it, there is a chance that you’ll buy it.

Influencer marketing is just like that – only at scale. When influencers tell their fans and followers about how great your product is, there is a much higher chance that their audience will convert simply because they need the product and trust the influencer.

Typically, the seller or marketer will give a special discount code for the influencer’s audience to track how effective the campaign is.

How to Choose an Influencer that’s Best for Your Marketing Campaign

Choosing an influencer for your marketing campaign is not always an easy task.

Before reaching out, be sure to set your campaign’s objectives. Only when you have a clear objective for your campaign can your search begin.

Once you’ve got this all locked down, remember that the creation process should be collaborative, so you need to communicate with your influencer and offer relevant information constantly. If the first influencer marketing campaign goes well, you could have a fruitful and long-term relationship.

How can influencer marketing increase your business?

  1. Reach New Target Audiences

When brands leverage social media to promote their own offerings, their reach is often limited to their own followers. These people may have already bought products from the brand before and may even consider making repeat purchases. But, again, it’s the same set of people! However, with influencer marketing, your brand’s products and services can be exposed to a host of new individuals who may not be aware of the brand. Branching out to a wider set of people can, thus, create a fresh stream of leads and convert newfound visibility into sales.

  1. Gain Trust and Credibility

The ideology behind influencer endorsements is fairly simple in nature. When a celebrity, social media personality, or industry expert shares content about a brand on social media, it creates a sense of instant credibility for the brand they promote.

The first step of long-lasting customer retention is building trust and credibility with current and potential users.  Internet users are likely to trust brand-centric content created by ‘normal people instead of the brands themselves. Partnering with influencers will help brands get endorsements from more trusted sources and deliver better brand salience. For instance, if a revered technology influencer speaks highly of a particular cosmetic product, it will have a much deeper impact than if the brand itself harps on its superiority and features.

  1. Boost Sales

It is a well-established fact that most new-age consumers consider social media while making a purchase decision. A brand’s social media presence can, then, make or break its sales numbers in a major way. A report compiled by the Digital Marketing Institute mentioned that 86% of women turn to social media for advice before purchasing products. Furthermore, more than half of them make purchase decisions based on Influencer posts on Facebook and Instagram. Clearly, brands can influence purchase decisions, and witness increased sales through influencer collaborations.

  1. Create Engaging Content

The recall value of a well-thought-out influencer marketing campaign can do wonders for a brand’s recall value. By creating content that deeply resonated with the target audience while establishing a sense of bonding and trust, influencers can help brands form a fiercely loyal customer base.

It would not be an overstatement to say that influencer marketing can help a brand garners more reach and visibility than any other method in today’s competitive, digital-first market. As collaborations between brands and influencers are set to skyrocket, influencer marketing has emerged as the best way to drive engagement and conversations with the target audience.

What Is Affiliate Marketing?

Affiliate marketing is when an online retailer pays you a commission for traffic or sales generated from your referrals.

It is one of the cheapest and easiest ways of marketing as you don’t need to create and sell a product. Just one thing you need to do is to enable a linked connection between buyer and seller and take your commission when the sale is made.

You recommend a product or service to your followers through your website, blog, or email list.

Your followers purchase the product or service using your affiliate link.

You get paid a commission for the sales made using your affiliate link.

What You Need to Start Affiliate Marketing

There are 2 things you need to get started with affiliate marketing:

  1. Create a Website or decide on a platform

Theoretically, you can do affiliate marketing on any platform. Even Instagram works. However, it’s much easier to build an audience and increase your affiliate sales via one of two channels: a blog or website.

To make money with affiliate marketing, the first thing you need is a website. Then, once your site is up, optimize it for search engines so that you have a better chance of ranking. From there, you’re free to add affiliate links to your content.

When it comes to building your website, you have tons of options. But we highly recommend using WordPress.

Now that your website is built, you’ll need to determine which products you want to promote. That takes us to the second prerequisite for starting with affiliate marketing.

  1. Choose Affiliate Products to Promote or Niche

To stand the best chance of success, niche down.

Choose a topic that focuses on a specific category. For example, the topic of “clothing” is an enormous category. Rather than tackling that, try something more specific, like female clothes.

Keeping your topics tight can help you build a more focused audience and potentially help you rank higher in search engines.

If you’ve done the work to choose a niche, choosing affiliate products to promote should be easy. But, first, choose products that fit your niche and relate to your content.

One of the best ways to select your affiliate products is by joining an affiliate network.

Affiliate networks are businesses that connect merchants and affiliate marketers so both can earn more money. Affiliate marketers use affiliate networks to make better product selections to promote on their site.

How to Make Money with Affiliate Marketing

As you see, affiliate marketing is a passive income source. It is highly competitive, it is true, but still, it may be so easy to make money online with affiliate marketing. To be successful, you need to learn what works and what doesn’t while promoting your products. If you ask yourself, “How can I do affiliate marketing,” here are the tips.

Let’s get started!

  1. Choose More Attractive Products

It would be a definite mistake to promote everything by registering with different affiliate programs. You can’t focus on each of them deeply, and the result would be a disappointment. So, instead of promoting everything, promote a few products which are unique, profitable, or can reach large masses. So, you need to understand market needs and desires and place your products accordingly to make money as an affiliate.

  1. Create Content That Generates Affiliate Revenue

To make money with affiliate marketing, most beginners publish some random content and insert affiliate links within the article.

That strategy may or may not work, but if you truly want to boost your affiliate revenue, you’ll need to make sure the content you publish reaches your target audience.

Your target audience wants to buy a product but is not sure whether or not the product is worth it.

Sometimes, the user may not even know which product to buy for fulfilling their needs.

As an affiliate marketer, it’s your job to help users discover the right product for their needs with high-quality content, help them make a purchasing decision, and then navigate them to the product website for completing the purchase.

That means your content should be targeting investigational intent keywords — the type of keywords your target audience uses on Google to research the product they want right before making the purchase.

  1. Promote Your Affiliate Products in the Content

Now you know what kind of content you’re going to produce: investigational. You’re looking for topics that revolve around your target audience, searching for an answer to the problem they’re facing.

Once you’ve done your keyword research and have your content ideas, it’s time to start inserting affiliate links in your content.

The way that you insert your affiliate links will depend on the specific article you’re writing. For example, it won’t make sense to add affiliate links to 5 different products if you’re doing a product review.

The goal is to insert your links as strategically as possible.

Note: Before you start adding hundreds of affiliate links across your site, invest in an affiliate link plugin.

Imagine having to sort through and update hundreds of expired affiliate links when you have no idea where you’ve placed them on your website.

You’re looking at hours of headaches and tons of wasted profit from expired links you’d forgotten about.

Fortunately, this is one nightmare that can be avoided with an affiliate management plugin.

  1. Turn Your Visitors Into Affiliate Customers

One of the biggest mistakes new affiliate marketers make is assuming they need to increase their traffic if they want to increase their profit. It actually doesn’t work that way, which is great news for you.

For example, let’s say that you’re promoting a product on your site that pays $50 as affiliate commission for every sale you make. And imagine that your affiliate conversion rate is 2%, meaning for every 100 visitors you send to that website, 2 of them are buying the product.

That means the CPC (cost per click) you earn is $1 per click. But what if you could send more visitors to the affiliate product site? Based on the CPC value, you could double the affiliate revenue as well. And the best part… you don’t have to increase traffic to your site. Instead, you could set up a conversion optimization campaign that boosts your revenue.

  1. Grow Affiliate Revenue from Your Email List

No matter how you look at it, email marketing is still the best way to earn passive income. All of the other methods fall short in some way.

SEO is great until Google changes its algorithm and your rankings tank. After that, paid ads can bring quick results if you have the budget to fail your way upwards. And even then, paid ads require constant care and attention to keep conversion rates high.

But your email list is traffic that’s always yours.

Plus, it’s full of people who have an interest in your niche and have already engaged with your content. That means you know they’re interested in your niche, and they’ll make for an excellent audience for your affiliate marketing campaigns.

Here’s the ONLY problem with email marketing: most business owners struggle to grow their contact list to where monetization makes sense.

  1. Test, Measure, and Track

Testing any action and measuring the performance help you explore what works and what doesn’t. Then, according to tracking results, change or keep your actions. For example, your banner ads aren’t gaining you much. So, try to be placed them in different areas and compare and contrast all results. Sure, some places earn you more.

  1. Be Patient

There are many affiliate marketing works. So, it would help if you were patient. You can feed your website with qualified content to get high-ranking positions, raise awareness, attend affiliate marketing events, seminars, or webinars, and join a discussion forum or online communities to meet new people. All make a great contribution to develop you. Naturally, after these contributions, you will be more passionate about making money from affiliate programs. If you are patient enough, you will make money with affiliate programs.

Final Thoughts

These are steps you should take to make money online with affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing is beautiful as it offers to make money from home. Just create a website, feed it with remarkable content, attract users and join affiliate programs. While saying it seems easy, but you should be patient until you reach the point of arrival.

Also, remember to avoid putting all your eggs in one basket. If you’re hoping to build a moneymaking website, diversifying your income streams is a smart move. Traditional advertisements and selling your own products can help if your affiliate-marketing revenue dries up.

    Build customer loyalty and Retention

If you want to build a long-term relationship with your customers, email is the way to go. Customer retention is crucial to the growth and success of any business. Unfortunately, acquiring a new customer is five to 25 times more expensive than retaining an existing customer.

In addition, retained customers are more likely to become loyal customers who buy more often, spend more money, and recommend you to others. Increasing customer retention by just 5% can increase company revenue by 25% to 95%. Email marketing allows you to stay in touch and build relationships.

Email Marketing

Here are some examples of personalized emails you can send to your contacts:

  • Greeting Cards: Highlight your clients’ birthday with a discount coupon.
  • We miss you: Send an automated email to subscribers who have not purchased in a while. Why not add a discount coupon to sweeten the deal?
  • Monthly newsletter: Send relevant content to your customers regularly, so they can discover what’s happening in your business (news, events, etc.).

The communication you send aligns with your customer’s needs and interests, which builds trust and keeps them coming back for more. You can also send thank-you emails and exclusive offers to existing customers via email.

2.   Educate your customers

The same questions will often come up, so most businesses have a “frequently asked questions” section on their website. You can go the extra mile and address these issues in the form of a blog post or webinar etc. If those basic questions aren’t answered preemptively, customers might call your company’s customer service team, which will incur extra costs by tying up valuable human resources.

Ask your customer service representatives about the most frequently asked questions, and produce content summarizing both the question and the answer. If you can easily publish content on your site, do so, and then send an email to all of the customers to which it applies with a link to the info. If it’s complicated to publish on your site, write the content directly in an email instead.

  1. Ask for testimonials

Employers ask for references when they hire a new employee. Why? Because people like to hear what others have to say about them, the concept applies to businesses. So why not ask for a reference from a customer who just bought a product or service from your business? These testimonials will help solidify your reputation. You can use it on your site or social networks. Offering the client who has provided you with a testimonial a little something special to say thank you will go a long way.

4.   Vary the content

People will not like it when they realize that every email campaign you send out is promotional. After all, your subscribers need to feel that you offer them something of value. That’s where varying the type of content you send out in campaigns is helpful.

Take a look at some of the different types of email content you can send:

  • Events: Invite local customers to an event you’re hosting at your business. This might be a product demo or an educational seminar.
  • Product/Service Information: Send out an email campaign informing your customers of a new product or service launch or updated features to get them excited about new and old things.
  • Newsletters: Share all kinds of information in a newsletter, including promotional material, without coming across as overly promotional. Consider linking back to your online shop, blog content, and social media platforms to encourage engagement with your content and boost sales.
  • Promotions: Just because people don’t want non-stop promotional material doesn’t mean they don’t want to know about upcoming sales or special deals. In fact, offering coupons and things like free shipping via email is a great technique for boosting revenue.
  1. Generate website traffic

Sending a monthly newsletter is one of the most effective ways to generate traffic to your website. If you have an online store, it’s a definite must. It is also a very effective way to educate your clients by directing them to a blog post. The important thing is to make sure to measure the impact of a newsletter on your sales. Then, based on those statistics, you’ll need to constantly adjust the content and make sure it is relevant for your readers.

Thanks to customization and permission-based marketing, it’s no surprise that if you include links in your emails, people will click them. Feature links to your website in marketing emails and email newsletters to generate website traffic.

For example, mention a new video or blog you’ve posted and include a link to watch or read more. Highlight a free resource you’ve added, with a link to download it from your website. Or give a concise, intriguing description of an upcoming product or event and direct subscribers to your site to learn more.

  1. Wake up “dormant” customers

Most small business owners tend to focus on acquiring new customers and end up neglecting past customers. Yet, it’s proven that it’s easier to sell to someone already purchased than to a new customer. With email marketing, it’s easy to re-engage past customers. One of the most effective ways to do this is by offering them a discount coupon. If you have their date of birth, you can easily automate a virtual greeting card containing a coupon to celebrate their birthday.

  1. Segment your email lists

The practice of sending out blast emails is definitely dwindling as consumers continue to demand more personalization.

If you really want to boost your click-through, segment your email lists into groups that mean something to your business, so you always send meaningful content to those on your mailing list.

For instance, send out one type of email campaign to those that have recently made a purchase, another to those that haven’t opened an email in a while, and yet another to those that are new subscribers. And don’t make them all promotional in nature because this defeats the purpose of segmenting your list.
